Why Gluten Free?
Over the past seven years, I have spent my time growing my business, to reach people with my tasty and nutritious granola! As I was out there peddling my wares, there were numerous times when I would offer a sample to people and they had to refrain due to a sensitivity to wheat. So I changed the recipe, and took wheat out of the equation. That worked well for a while, until I met more people, who still couldn’t eat my delicious morsels because they were gluten intolerant or Celiacs. I began to study this disease and to my surprise, there were not a lot of options out there for people with this condition! Fourteen months ago, I decided to change all that.
I uprooted my whole business to a new location in Kingston, WA, so that I could add a dedicated gluten free kitchen with the sole purpose of developing products that are delicious, nutritious, and yes, still gluten free!
I have already had great success with all my conventional products over the years, and I was confident I could do it again. I am so happy to have an opportunity to make smiles on the faces of all the people out there who have long suffered without their Mirracole Morsels.
